HARDSHIP AND TOUGH TIME IN KOGI STATE WAS A CONSEQUENCE OF A BETRAYAL OF A FAITHFUL CANDIDATE

HARDSHIP AND TOUGH TIME IN KOGI STATE WAS A CONSEQUENCE OF A BETRAYAL OF A FAITHFUL CANDIDATE. Echocho a victim of political manipulations and greedy leaders.
Alhaji Jibrin Isah Echocho ( Phd economics) is a man of status of high standing who God has chosen for the people of Kogi State but was replaced by a man who was not prepared for the job of office of the governor of Kogi State and therefore landed us where we are today.
Heretofore, Echocho was an executive director of Afribank and lucky to be one of the two directors of the Bank who were corruption free during the regulatory investigations associated with the Banking reform in 2009. A down to heart technocrat who has excelled in various fields of endeavors. A man with a pleasant heart whose hubby is to make people and improve the value added of the society. He was invited by the political class to join the political vehicle of his state because of the unique qualities they saw in him. After a long period of resistance and the perpetual pressure from the political class, He decided to welcome their ideas and joined to work assiduously to reawaken the lost hope of Kogi people in the government of PDP. He won the ticket of the party amidst 24 other contestant in the 2011 primary election and later on,the political players alongside the judiciary collaborated and took the mandate away from him using tenure elongation as a tool. Probably the fear of the unknown was the reason for doing that mindless of the effect of their actions on the harmless technocrat. They brought in Wada who conspicuously danced to their music and in the end landed in the hands of Bello who nobody imagined or predicted. Now Bello is probing their government from 2003 to 2015. What a set back?
Kogi people instead of standing firm to the truth, they decided to join the power brokers to betray the God chosen one. Though not all of us supported this act of inhumanity.
Now God is fighting back and we are crying. He brought Bello to pay back the betrayal and Bello has adequately betrayed all the political leaders and he is dealing with the masses who refused to remain steadfast with the truth. As much as I Know God, we shall continue in this suffering until we ask him for forgiveness and remain faithful in all our dealings. The past government will face a terrible embarrassment of immature probe and unnecessary agitation. This would have been better handled by a very intelligent personality like Echocho.
What our state is looking for now is not radicalism but an investment banker who is an investment expert, capable of mobilizing investor to our dear state in order tap into our numerous crude resources for the development of our state and the entire nation. This is the area of speciality of Echocho. He was a managing Director of an investment banking firm for 5 years and a pioneer head of investment banking of a merchant bank. The entire country will benefit from his bank of skill and experiences if approached. He was a graduaTe of BUK with a Bsc Economics (first class honors), he has Msc development economics from the University of Lagos, Mphil petroleum economics from the University of Ibadan, MBA from the university of Nigeria Nsuka and a Phd economics from a USA university. What an intimidating CV, what a working CV. I hope that by now the entire people of Kogi state would have realized their mistakes. Instead of Bello to consult people of relevant expertise he is busy organizing parties and displaying juvenile leadership style. This can only lead him to a storm and his political reputation if any will continue to damping down. My advise to his Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Bello is to quickly detached himself from the present stooge who lacks capacity to govern a classroom and get in the experience political class from various senatorial districts to help him out. Don't say I didn't tell you o. I shall remind you of this someday. May Allah overlook our shortcomings and bless our dear state. Amin. Thank you all
